According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 376th position in the general ranking, and 108rd position in the sectoral ranking with an export figure of $ 50,980,222.76 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2019.

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 324th position in the general ranking, and 2rd position in the sectoral ranking with an export figure of $ 56,317,153.85 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2018.

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 264th position in the general ranking, and 3rd position in the sectoral ranking with an export figure of $ 61,816,579.60 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2017.

 

2016

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 285th position in the general ranking, and 95th position in the sectoral ranking with an export figure of $ 54,538,563.29 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2016.

Our company has moved into the ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System and been certified accordingly as of 01.08.2016.

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 159th position in the general ranking, and 77th position in the sectoral ranking with an export figure of $ 89,950,988.00 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2015.

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 94th position in the general ranking with an export figure of $ 113,825,075.52 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2014.

2010

According the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, our company took the 89th position in the general ranking with an export figure of $ 124,796,724.06 among the top 1,000 Export Trading Companies of Turkey in 2010.

 

2009 

ETSUN has been continuing its commercial operations at a headquarters in Istanbul since 2009, and started to operate its Purchasing and Logistics Services at a warehouse located in Tuzla for the purpose of fulfilling the increased demands for export under better conditions as from August 2009. With the increased foreign trade volume, it regained the designation of “Foreign Trade Capital Company” in 2009.

 

2008 

Unlike many other companies that went downsizing due to the constrictions and fluctuations in 2008, ETSUN has achieved to increase its trade volume and, take advantage of adverse conditions thanks to its hardworking staff. 

 

2007 

ETSUN started to focus on the export of construction products as from 2007 due to the growth in the construction sector in Azerbaijan that is our most important exporting market, and increased the volume of its operations at this sector making use of the competitive advantages from the reliable and successful companies, with which ETSUN has acted in cooperation.

 

2005 

It is currently operating in the trade of petroleum products by means of participating in the tenders for petroleum products initiated by the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (SOMO) affiliated with the Iraq Ministry of Oil. It has reached a trade volume of more than USD 300 million by means of shipping more than 400 thousand tons of diesel oil, gasoline, paraffin oil, LPG etc. within a short period of time of 5 years. It started to manufacture and sell mineral oil under the brand PEROIL at the Mineral Oil Manufacturing Facility that commenced operations in the same years.

 

2003

Continuing its journey of quality it adopts as a lifestyle, ETSUN documented its Quality Management System according to the TS-EN-ISO 9001:2000 standard on 07.05.2003 and, is serving within the scope of this understanding in an uninterrupted manner.

 

2001 

ETSUN’s export of crystal granulated sugar has reached an amount of 400 thousand tons, achieving to export 1.3 million tons of granulated sugar within a period of about ten years. ETSUN has reached a certain trade volume allowing it to account for about 40% of the sugar export of Turkey within a short period of time and, exported a great amount of sugar corresponding to about USD 350 million within a geography expanding from Spain to Turkmenistan in this period. Thanks to this great figures in the exporting of sugar it has maintained for a long period of time, it has been admitted to the membership of the “Refined Sugar Association” consisting of distinguished companies.

 

2000 

Due to the high-technology it has adopted in the manufacturing processes, the reliable brands it has offered, and the great services it has rendered since the very beginning, ETSUN has been granted many awards and, proved the quality of its services with the TS-EN-ISO 9002 Quality System Certificate on 02.05.2000.

 

1996 

ETSUN has exported to mainly Azerbaijan and Georgia oil under the brands Teksun, Final and Blendo and, flour under the brands Maral, 4T4, Ela, Silniy and Princessi Naz as subcontracted, and also started to export crystal granulated sugar in the same years.

 

1995 

ETSUN has exported products for an amount of USD 62 million to 11 countries including Dubai/UAE, Azerbaijan and Russia and, achieved to gain the designation of “Foreign Trade Capital Company” for the first time pursuant to the laws of the Republic of Turkey. With this designation, ETSUN has ranked among the top 30 companies in Turkey.

 

1992 

ETSUN has increased its trade volume thanks to the exports to the Turkic Republics. Despite the tough conditions in the Turkic Republics and the Middle East companies, ETSUN has achieved to forecast the requirements and needs of these markets and shaping its structuring and strategies accordingly.

 

1990 

ETSUN exported solid oil under the brands Teksun and Final manufactured by Unilever as a subcontractor to Iraq, and the Vita products as a brand of Unilever to Syria. ETSUN has been awarded contracts from various tenders for oil, sugar and legumes initiated by the Iraq State Ministry of Trade (State Co. For Food Stuff) through the UN during the 90’s, and successfully performed these contracts making it a symbol of trust.

 

1982 

Having started to operate in Ankara, ETSUN A.Ş. has achieved a rare success in that period with an export volume of USD 7.5 million during the first years after its establishment. ETSUN has exported a great amount of food and livestock to the Middle East countries between 1982 and 1989 and, released to the domestic market the meat products manufactured at the meat integrated facility it has established in Ankara in the same period and, achieved a great success thanks to the quality thereof.”
